Virology (General, viral immunity and Biotechnology) The course aims to: 1- Educate students the general features, morphology, symmetry of viruses and its difference from other microorganisms. 2- Enable the students to isolate and identify the causative agents of virus infection. 3- Enable students to practice the principles of laboratory biosafety sterilization. 4- Provide system and antiviral immunity, general protective function and destructive effect of immune response. 5- Accept the students more skills in rap i« diagnostic procedures of virus infection a cellular and molecular level. Special virology and Prion diseases The course aims to provide: 1- Students with special skills for the different rapid diagnosis of viruses. 2- The students with the steps of dividing viruses into DNA viruses and RNA viruses. 3- Students what are the prions and disease caused by it and the difference between them and the other microorganisms. 4- Students with the method of diagnosing of zoonotic viruses.
