General Bacteriology and immunology The course aims to: 1- Educate students with basic features of general bacteriology and immunology. 2- Enable the students to practice the principles of sterilization and infection control. 3- Enable the students to isolate and identify the causative agents of bacterial infection. 4- familiarize the students with basic principles of molecular bacteriology. 5- Enable the students to control microbial disease by vaccines and anti-sera 6- Assess the different mechanism of immunity in different animals. Systematic Bacteriology and Mycology The course will enable the graduate to: 1- Educate the basic features of mycology and Systematic Bacteriology. 2- Enable the students to isolate and identify the causative agent of bacterial infection. 3- Study the different types of fungi. 4- Preparation of samples and bacterial cultures of different microbes and investigation by microscope.
