Helminthology and Immune Parasitology The course aims are: 1- To provide a basic knowledge concerning parasitological terminology, identification and classification of Helminths. 2- To provide the basic knowledge concerning classification, taxonomy, biology of parasites, their life cycles and habitats. 3- To provide knowledge and understanding of the host specificity, host susceptibility and the pathogenicity and the diseases induced. 4- To provide the students with the skills of diagnosis of parasites (direct& indirect). 5- To give basic general knowledge of the control measures, prevention and treatment of parasitic infections in different host. Arthropods, Protozoa, and Clinical parasitology The course aims are: 1- To provide a basic knowledge concerning parasitological terminology, identification and classification of Arthropods and Protozoa. 2- To provide the basic knowledge concerning classification, taxonomy, biology of Arthropods and Protozoa. 3- To give general knowledge of control measures, prevention and treatment of arthropods and protozoal infection in different hosts.
